I can not activate the time box feature in BigPicture. What could be reason?

i try to activate the time box feature in jira cloud BigPicture, but the option is missing. What could be the reason.

That is part of the board module which you have turned on.  If you go the board module can you see if you have the ability to add a timebox.  If you do not then you will have to talk to your admin and make sure that type of box is enabled.
