I am unable to mention people on comments

Hi,

I have created a next gen product and i have administrator role.

However, i am unable to mention the name of the people in the comments. 

The @ is changing color (showing in blue) but the list of names isn't showing.

The other people who have access in the project with member role are able to mention the people in the comment.

Kindly help.

The most probable cause is that you do not have the global permission 'Browse users'.

Follow the troubleshooting in https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/mentions-and-autocomplete-are-not-working-in-jira-cloud-779160727.html and check on the items.
