I am trying to automate the creation of monthly maintenance Jira tickets by referring  the data from Assets attributes. Based on the Start date and end date, I need to set up an automation rule in one of my Jira project to create the tickets in it.

Need help to set up Automation in connecting Jira Assets to Jira project board.

Can you provide more details about your scenario?

I understand you want to automate creating issues, but I am unclear what you want to use as criteria - data in Jira issues or data in Assets.

You mention you want to create monthly maintenance issues. Do you want to do this once a month? How would you manually determine that a maintenance issue needs to be created?

If you were going to create the new issue manually, exactly what steps would you do? Can you walk us through the manual process providing relevant example data? For example, on the first day of the month you review issues (or Assets?) looking for the ones that match criteria X, Y, and Z....
