This is probably the weirdest help request you’re gonna get because;
i don’t use this product or even understand it.
i am here because a website used by a video game I play is not functioning properly for anyone and I contacted the company themselves and they had no idea what to do either… so I had followed a couple leads and hopefully you can help.
the main problem is that no one can create accounts, find lost accounts, or change passwords. This is not a single problem as it affects everyone who uses the platform and has failed to work for several months.
for example when you try to create an account it says your account/password is wrong no matter what you do, and it never says why it is wrong and I and others have spent hours trying to find anything that is acceptable with no luck.
the other problem is if you try to use the “I forgot my password” function or the same for usernames and it just doesn’t send any emails to anyone no matter what email address or when.
i thought you might be able to solve this as it said to contact Jira administrators for certain problems and mojang the owners only said that they do not think they could help.
thank you and sorry if this is just a waste of time,
Hi @Milo Bartlettbundy , unfortunately, you've likely come to the wrong forum for help with your issue. This forum is about help with Atlassian products such as Jira. it seems like you need assistance with creating accounts associated with an online game? I suspect you came here because the video game vendor uses Jira as a means of reporting issues and there is a link on that portal that brings you here.
Yes, however the account is not for the game but for the bug tracker and so I can’t get help if I don’t have access to the tracker for said bug. Also I asked about it to the owners and they said to ask here

As Stephen noted you are a customer of Mojang and the game vendor is a customer of Atlassian. The vendor controls access to the bug tracker so you need to work with them to get access. I wonder if there is a 3rd party doing support. Can you share the URL to the support site?

Thanks @Ste Wright . Indeed as expected this is Mojang's usage of Jira for their own bug tracking. Note the following from their Summary page...
Welcome to the Minecraft: Java Edition Bug Tracker!
You can report bugs you've found in Minecraft: Java Edition using this bug tracker. If you're reporting bugs you've found in our Minecraft Launcher, you can do so here. This site is not for help or support, please see this helpful article if you need help with Minecraft. If you need help with your Mojang account, contact our support team at help.minecraft.net.
Before you report a bug in any of our games, please perform a search first to see if someone has already contacted us about it to prevent duplicate reports being made.

Atlassian provides products like Jira Service Management (which might be getting used by Mojang) to support customers, which can include raising bugs/incidents.
But Atlassian could only help the customer who is using those products - i.e Mojang themselves - rather than a game user.
The "contact Jira Administrators" is referring to Mojang's product admins, rather than Atlassian itself.
I would contact Mojang again and ask them to get this rectified through their internal product support team.
