How to write release notes in new Jira view

In the old view we could click on edit and add release notes directly to the story. In the new view that is mandatory on March 31st it seems that the functionality has moved or is missing. Specifically, if I am moving a story from QA to done and want to write the notes for it at that time, how do I do it?

Would you please share a screen image of where you are entering release notes today?  I am wondering if you are using some add-on feature.

The release notes that I am aware of for Jira project releases are configured on the releases page, not on the individual issues:
