How to view tickets from past sprints on Jira Software

I frequently have the need to reference back on closed/completed tickets and stories from past Jira sprints.

But finding this information wasn't intuitive and I struggled with Jira's guide here, especially since Reports are not enabled by default.

So for anyone needing a quick guide on how to view past stories on Jira, here is a step-by-step interactive guide in case it's helpful to others.
