How to upload apps in jira instance

is there a fast way to upload app in jira. (expect REST API)

our jira server is hosted in linux envs 

I am using this way which is taking a lot time : settings > manage apps > upload app

thanks for your question. There is a python library for Atlassian Applications, that also allows to upload apps, that can be found here 

This will allow you to install apps via script for example, to automate the process.
