How to transfer your columns from another project?

Deleted user February 24, 2021

Hi,

I have created a Project template with custom columns for my Kanban Board, however if I create a new project and share the settings with the template project the board displays only default columns (To Do, In Progress and Done)

When I select Board Setting all my status are sitting under In Progress Column. Is there anyway that I could set copy over the same columns using the share settings option?

There's no "copy board settings" yet, so I'm afraid you'll ave to do it manually, adding the columns you need in the new board and mapping the status from there into them as appropriate.

When you first create a project there aren't any Statuses mapped to the custom Columns, which will cause the Column to not appear on the board.

If you go to Board Settings > Columns you can drag the appropriate Statuses into Columns.
