How to switch my "Business" project type into "Software" project type

I'm evaluating Jira Core. Today I was not able to configure my project board. In the help and forum I found that the reason is the project type which is set to "Business". The guidance is to switch the project type to "Software". That's fine however, I'm not able to switch my project type nor I'm able to create a new project with project type "Software".

Can anyone help?

Are you on Jira Server or Jira Cloud? 

You'll need to install the application of "Jira Software" either way. Here are the instructions for Server, here they are for Cloud
