How to split license quota to more than one Jira instance

Hi,

Let's say i'm installing a new JIRA Server with licenses i have jut purchased for a global company. Now quickly i find out i need to create a JIRA instance for each geo. location.

In that case, what should i do with my license? The total quota is still ok.. just divided into more than one server.

Can someone advise?

Work out how many users you need for each site, and hence what tier of licence you need for each (you're going to need a set of licences - one for each site).   Then talk to Atlassian sales about how to reallocate the money from the current licence to put towards the new smaller separate licences you need to get.
