How to show story points in scrum board based on query

Joost Eijkenboom August 3, 2023

Problem:

I have two seperate projects, with story point estimates. Both projects use this field, and both projects show this field in the board and backlog view.

Now, I created a combined board, using a saved filter.

The issues in this combined board, have a story point estimate. I can see it when I click on an issue. However, these story point estimates are not being shown on the board or backlog.

Hi @Joost Eijkenboom

In the board configuration you are able adjust the card layout of issues on the board.

You can add the Story Points field there, in both board or backlog.

Thanks for your reaction @Marc - Devoteam

Sadly, this isn't a solution. When enabling it here, the story point estimate is added on another line (not in place of the "-" in the unit card). And it still doesn't add up on top of a sprint.

Hi @Joost Eijkenboom

Are your projects Team Managed or Company Managed.

reading your reply that you use the Story Point Estimate field, gives my the idea that the projects are Team Managed.

I think this can only be realised by using company managed projects, this as team managed projects are completely self maintained.

Or you do use company managed projects, but then you should use the Story Point field for estimation.

Seems strange, but the fields differ, based on team or company managed projects

Yes it is team managed. Thanks for clarifying.
