How to show Epic names for all Issues types in a Filter

Brad Smith September 26, 2022

Hello,

I am sending Filter subscriptions out to management. They are wanting the Epic name for each Issue type displayed so they can easily see what each task, deliverable, subtask or story relates to as their "parent" epic.

As seen in the photo, I can get the names to show up as needed, but is there anyway to consolidate into 1 column? I would have hoped that "Epic Name" would have given the overall parent epic name to each issue type and not just appear of the epic type lines.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Hi Brad,

No, you will not be able to get those in one column as the Epic Name only applies to Epics and not other issue types. And that field will be going away soon, so it will only be the Summary field anyway. So you will need Summary and Epic Link both.
