Hello

I basically have 2 projects(Project A and Project B). If an issue(Project A) has move to tab Done I want to Clone/Create New Issue in Project B and auto assignee issue to specific user.

Thank you!

Hello @QLNS

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You can use a global rule provided by Jira automation to properly clone the issue in another project and set it with a specific assignee when the original issue is transitioned. These would be the steps:

  1. Navigate to Project A > Project settings > Automation
  2. On the top-right corner, click on "Global Administration"
  3. On the top-right corner, Click to create rule, following the example below:

This would be the rule background:

  1. The rule is triggered when an issue is transitioned to done
  2. If the issue transitioned is from "Project A",
  3. A new issue is cloned in "Project B", setting a specific user as assignee
