This solely depends on the requirements. But here are some highlights:
1. Before workflows, define issue types to represent the main categories of SEO work:
Keyword Research (gathering & validating keywords)
Content Optimization (on-page SEO, content rewrites, meta updates)
Technical SEO (site speed, crawling, indexing fixes)
Content Creation (new pages/blog posts for SEO)
Backlink Outreach (link-building campaigns)
SEO Audit / Reporting
2. You would need to include some custom fields like: Target keywords, Content URL, Optimization type, etc.
3. Desired workflow - not all companies have the same SEO approach
