Is it possible not to see issues from another space while editing Parent fuild? It is very inconvenient, espacially if issies have the same title. I am an administrator of saveral projects, so I cann't solve this problen just setting different user groups for different spaces, I still have to have access to all issues from all spaces, but I don't want to see other issues when I'm working with particular space.

There is the same problem with sprints from other spaces, but it is easier because there is a "Only show sprints in this space" checkbox. But I wish only sprints of the same space to be shown here by default.

Hey @Ilya Kulshenko

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

The Parent and Sprint field will display the results from other projects (renamed to Spaces now) and boards where you have visibility.

As you rightly pointed, the user can restrict the sprints by selecting the "Only show sprints in this space" checkbox.

But there's no way to restrict the results in the Parent field. You'll have to type the project key to view the parent issues from a specific project.

There's a suggestion ticket where you can add your vote: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-82591

Thanks!

Currently, Jira doesn't let you filter out parent issues from other spaces when editing; the picker shows issues from all accessible spaces, unlike the sprint field which offers a space-only filter. There’s no default option, but using apps/plugins or raising a feature request with Atlassian is your best bet for improving this experience. @Ilya Kulshenko If it works, kindly plz let me know.
