How to restore an archived issue on a next-gen Kanban board

Hi,

I'm using a next-gen kanban board, and mistakenly moved a card into the done column, which automatically gave it a green done tick. I moved the task back into the in-progress column,  but the resolved tick remained.  After a few weeks, the ticked task was automatically removed from the board, despite still being in the in-progress column. The issue now appears in searches, but not the board. 

Is there a way for me to return the issue to the board?

Can I remove the done/ ticked flag, to prevent the automatic archive in the first place?

See if you can clear the Resolution field with a Bulk change. There's not a lot that you can do with Next-gen projects and boards.

I can't see a field for changing the resolution in bulk edit? I can transition the issue into new states, but it doesn't effect the resolution status.

Ah, you are right - I forgot that we do that through an Automation For Jira rule. Sorry about that.
