Hi,

one of my sprint was closed automatically last week. I don't know how it happened. I checked the history, it was done by aonmyous. Does it means the system did it automatically? I have set up any auto completed sprint, then the sprint was disappeared in the backlog nor dashboard.

I'd like to get it back by reopen the sprint, but I cannot find it in sprint report anymore, not appear for selection in the pull down.

Anyone could help?

Sandy

Hello @Sandy LEE

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

What type of Space does this concern? Click the ... button next to the space name and tell us what the last two lines in the pop-up say. Example:

Is this a Jira instance you set up yourself, or one set up by somebody else who granted you access to it?

Do other users have access to this Jira instance and the affected Space?

The tags on your post indicate you are using a Free Jira subscription. Is that accurate?

Where are you seeing the information that the sprint was closed by Anonymous? Can you provide a screen image of that?

Hi Trudy,

Mine is Team-managed. I set it up for my team to use. Yes, we are using free version.

Hello @Sandy LEE

According to my research with Chrome Gemini if you configure a sprint to automatically complete and specify that incomplete issues should move to a New Sprint then the issue history will show the update of the sprint field being done by Anonymous.

I have to wait another 30 minutes for this to actually happen with a sprint I just started, to confirm Gemini's response is correct.

I have confirmed the behaviour above - when a sprint is set to automatically complete and move the incomplete issues to a new or the next sprint, then the change in the issue Sprint field is shown as done by the Anonymous user.

Where are you looking for the that closed sprint? I am able to see the automatically closed sprint in the burndown and burnup reports' Sprint selection lists. Can you provide a screen image of what you see?
