How to remove transition issue checkbox

I've been in the process of creating a Jira project for Development and I have been asked to add some automation to streamline the ticketing process.

As part of this process, I added an automation to automatically transition a merged pull request from Bitbucket to done. However, despite this automation being in place there still remains a transition issue checkbox from Bitbucket whilst merging the PR.

While the automation still functions as intended even if the checkbox is unchecked I have received requests from Development to remove this checkbox.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to or if it is even possible to remove this "transition to Done" checkbox as I have found little information and no guides on how to do this.
