Hi,

My project has 10 columns. A few days ago I have entered the Jira Board, and I noticed that columns don't fit to screen anymore.

Columns are stretched and I see a side scroll bar on the bottom. I have to scroll from left to right in order to see all issues in different columns.

How can I get a back layout in which I can see all columns on one screen?

Hi @Omer Farooq -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

What type of project is this, team-managed or company-managed?

For quite a while, there was no horizontal scroll bar, making it more difficult to navigate Kanban boards with lots of columns.

Some impacts to the display of columns on a Jira Kanban board include:

  • number columns
  • width of the text in the column names
  • browser zoom size
  • monitor size
  • display/hide of the left and right size expand views

In my experience, Jira boards with a lot of columns could only display fully with a browser addon to compress the view.

As a related issue, I made this suggestion a while ago to hide/show columns to help teams: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17698

Kind regards,
Bill
