How to remove default access to jira ops?

I just noticed that all users are default getting access to jira ops when they join, I would like to limit the amount of licenses that are being given out to people who dont directly need access. 

How do I remove default access to jira ops?

Hi Adam,

To prevent new users to receive a license for the products, you must uncheck the "User defaults".

Please, go to Site administration > Product access > User defaults (on the top right corner).
Then you can uncheck the Jira Ops, so new users won't receive a license for this product.
After that, click on "Set defaults" to save the configuration.
