Hi everyone,
We have a sandbox instance within our Jira environment that was created quite some time ago. Over time, our sandbox has significantly diverged from our production Jira instance in terms of workflows, issue types, custom fields, automations, and other configurations.
We now need to update our sandbox to be an accurate copy of our current production environment. Is this possible to achieve? What would be the best approach to essentially make the sandbox a fresh copy of production
Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? Are there any recommended procedures for refreshing a sandbox instance to match production?
Thanks in advance!
Hello @Asier Vadillo
You can copy the specific projects to your already existing sandbox if you go to three dots of your sandbox and choose Copy production data. If it's for all of the projects, it would be the same if you delete the previous and make the new one or just override it.
Hi @Nikola Perisic ,
thanks for the answer! If I copy the main project, what will happen with all the global configs? Like Field schemes, global automations... Every config that may be used in the project but it is not in the project per se.

All of the configurations that you have will be copied to your sandbox instance.
