How to recover deleted tickets in Jira

I need urgent support in recovering deleted tickets from this board - Cosmos SFCC - Scrum Board - Jira 

At around 1.30pm Dubai time, a bulk delete operation was mistakenly run while creating another board. A total of 192 tickets were deleted. While the organization admin can view the list of tickets in trash, we cant see the option to recover them.

Could you please suggest a way to recover them? Its time sensitive since alot of people are working on these tickets and the backup lasts only for 24 hours

Can someone please suggest a possible fix?

Sadly deleting its final. you cant recover those work items. You need a backup to restore.

You can try with Atlassian support.

Now it will be a good time to take the delete permissions from all of your projects and maybe admin can delete.

Also do a backup daily or weekly.

You cannot recover the deleted issues. Atlassian even asks you if you are sure that you want to delete the issues because there is no turning back. So the answer is no, you cannot.

Unfortunately, Jira doesn't provide native restore functionality to recover deleted tasks. If the task in Jira was deleted, the options are to restore it from a backup or try to contact Atlassian support. 

To prevent such a situation in the future, I can recommend you try Issue History for Jira (Work Item History) app from SaaSJet. 

With its help, it is possible:

• Track the complete task change history in Jira

• Monitor deleted tasks easily and restore them if needed 

• Export full historical data in Excel / CSV formats or use the API to automatically export the full Jira task history periodically to Google Sheets or other external tools (it can be an alternative option to the backups)

• Monitor bulk changes and revert them if needed
