How to reassign multiple issues at the same time

Soraya Hosseini November 14, 2013

We need to reassign a few issues at the same time. we tried the following solution:

Modifying Multiple ('Bulk') Issues https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Modifying+Multiple+%28%27Bulk%27%29+Issues

This solution allows the following bulk changes:

-Workflow Transition

-Delete

-Move

-Edit

-Watch / Stop Watching

However, it doesnt allow 'Changing the assignee'.

Is there another way we can reassign multiple issues at the same time?

Thanks

Soraya

The best you can do is bulk-edit and change the assignee there. It won't fire "issue reassigned" events though, just "issue updated"

Great, Thanks Nic, I had not gone into the 'Edit Issue' to see the assignee is changable. This helps :)
