How to propagate screen fields as uneditable text to other screens

I have transition screens 1 to 5, for managing the transitions from one status to another, in sequence.

On transition screen 1 I enter a date in a custom field (date picker).

On transition screens 2-5 I would like to see the date entered in transition screen 1 as information, not as an editable field. How can I do this?

Transition screens are intended specifically to gather more information from the user during a transition.  There's no "display only" option on them.
