How to print a JIRA ticket in the new UI?

The new UI doesn't seem to have the "Print" feature. Has it been removed?

I can switch to the old UI to do this, but what happens when the old UI is removed completely?

Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Currently, it's not possible to print or export issues using the new issue view. We have a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:

Please, click on vote and watch in order to hear about updates on the development cycle.

As we still have the option to disable the new view, it means that the new view is not completely ready, so this feature should be implemented before they remove the old UI and currently, there are no plans to remove the old UI.
