How to populate contents from a text file into the custom jira issue field

Hi,  

I am able to create and populate the jira issue using powershell, next i am trying to populate the jira issue's custom field with the data from the text file. 

Can anyone please guide me?

I am able to do it. 

I 1st took the contents of the text file in a string variable and then passed the variable as a custom field value.
