How to pass startofDay/week/month and EndOfDay/week/month as a parameter to get the updated results

Hi Team, 

I am trying to extract the tests executed (by using testExecutionTests function) between specific period, i can pass start and end dates as parameters. 

Instead of Date format, I would like to use startofDay/week/month and EndOfDay/week/month as parameters. 

Can anyone guide me?
