if you need just to change your project type, please go to the project admin section and update project type from work management to software.

@956902235 , my suggestion is to migrate the whole project to another instance using the following approach https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/migrating-projects-to-another-jira-instance-1167739597.html and then modify project type.
