Hi everyone,
I’m managing a multilingual WordPress-based project and looking for a workflow to organize translation updates and content versioning efficiently using Atlassian tools like Jira or Confluence.

For example, I handle English, Spanish, German, and Portuguese versions of guides and tutorials on my site Minecraft Jenny Mod , and I’d like to improve tracking of changes between languages.

Is there a recommended setup or plugin integration between Confluence and translation management systems to automate or simplify this process?

Any advice, documentation, or real-world use cases would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
— Phillipe

HI @Phillipe Glenn ,

Is the source of the content stored in some other apps (WordPress) or are you initially storing information in Confluence and then copying that to a customer-visible site? I'm asking as Confluence doesn't natively support page versions per language (feature request CONFCLOUD-64788), but you could maybe use Jira versions and components to track this 🤔

Maybe something like:

Components  English, Spanish, German, Portuguese
Versions Represent release cycles (e.g., “v1.1 Website Update”, “v1.2 Tutorials Refresh”)

I guess you could use different Jira spaces as well - one for English, one for Spanish... but you should test these options to see what fits the best. 👀

Cheers,
Tobi
