How to make the features of the add on "Simple Edit" visible

Hello Atlassian-Community,

we have added the add on "Simple Edit" from Appfire. Now I would like to know how to make the features (description toolbar) visible?  If I want to create a new issue the features should be available in the description field or isn´t?

Mathias,

In Jira Cloud, select the 3 dots in the upper-right of an issue screen (next to the Share button) and select SE: Edit.

Similarly, in the comment section, next to Work log, you should see "SE: Comments".

Let me know if you're able to find those!

Hello Evn,

Thanks a lot for your response to my request. Yes, I can see the "SE:Edit"- and the "SE:Comments"-Button. Know, if I select teh description field the desctiption toolbar is available. So far so good... But if I want to create a new issue / story, there is no description toolbar showed over the decsription field. Is there a possibility where the description toolbar will showed any time or do I have the toolbar only available after the creation of an issue?

Unfortunately, Atlassian limits the places where we can customize Jira. I don't believe what you're looking for is possible.
