How to make particular created task non editable and non deletable?

In a project I have created the task. so I want no one can edit that task and no one can deleted the particular task and If any one want to change the task from todo to in progress they cant do that.

How to make this happen?

Please provide me the proper guide to apply this?

Is this a one time need or do you expect to need to do this repeatedly?

If you expect to do this repeatedly, I recommend that you consider having a separate issue type for this type of work. You could then have a custom workflow for that type of issue. In that workflow you would set Workflow Properties for to limit who can edit, delete, and transition the issue of that type.

I note that you tagged your post as being for a Free subscription. With a Free subscription you cannot modify the Permissions at the project level.

I'm not sure if modifying the permissions through workflow properties would actually work.

Hi @techsupport 

In Scriptrunner on Server / DC you would be able to do this using behaviours with a guide workflow.

On Cloud unfortunately you can't, the app simply isn't that far yet on Cloud, but new features are being developed and added.

Your best bet to get this to work in Cloud would be as you mentioned: Make the field editable only on a tranistion.
