How to make Team system field editable on creation screen

Hello, 

We want to start using Team field instead of custom drop-down field in JIRA. We created teams in JIRA. We added Teams field everywhere. However, when I for example create a new bug, I Team only as a label but when I edit bug ticket, I see Team as a drop down and can select a value. Could someone please advice me how to make Team field editable on a screen creation? I've checked layout, permissions, screens. Thanks in advance for any help.

The word "team" you see under field "Squad" is a field description.

Check the field squad or the field configuration scheme used on the project

Just to confirm - are you using company-managed or team-managed space here?

Btw, that "Team" label does look a bit strange (compared to others). Have you confirmed you've added the right Team to the create screen?

There's no specific permission when it comes to selecting a Team, so that should not be it.

Also, have you tried using a different browser or incognito mode? Potentially, it's a caching problem, so it might be worth checking that as well. 🤔

On the create screen, there's also 'Find your field' option, so you could use that as well to help you troubleshoot the issue. 👀
