How to log work in Task management?

I want to use the business project type and the simplicity of the Task Management board type appeals to me. The problem is, I can’t seem to get the “Log Work” menu option to appear.. Is the feature simply not available on the Task Management type board?

According to Ricardo, Support Engineer at Atlassian, Time Tracking feature is not available in the Detail Issue View of business boards. However, we there is a demand from our customers for this to be implemented, so it has an open Feature Request.
