How to leverage Goals in both Jira Product Discovery and Jira Software Projects via automation?

We love using Goals in JPD and Jira software projects, but dislike how we have to set these manually. We use JPD to ideate and eventually trigger Initiatives and Epics to be created for our project development teams. Ideally we could use automation to put the same goal on the work items that was on the ideas in JPD. A lot get missed trying to do this manually.

Do you mean Atlas / Home goals? 

If so, I do not believe those are supported by automation rules yet as there are no public REST API endpoints to access them.  Here are the suggestions to add that capability:

@Bill Sheboy yes I meant those goals. We want to be able to access them via Atlassian automations.
