How to know who installed a plugin

Hi everyone,

I want to know who installed any plugin in Atlassian. I have seen that before the manage app UI update, there was an audit log that shows this information.
The problem is that I am not seeing it now, not know if it has disappeared or moved.

Any solution? My main problem is to know who installed the apps, not to know where this Audit Log is.

Thanks beforehand!

Hey @Asier Vadillo

With the new Jira UI, the app audit logs are available under the options menu next to Apps in the sidebar. Here's a screenshot:

Thanks!

Thanks @Karan Sachdev ,

It appears that an anonymous user is the most common one, what does that mean? The system?

Hey @Asier Vadillo

Anonymous actually implies that the app was installed by the system, likely due to a backend action, and not an action performed by a user on the Jira UI.

We have a feature request to improve this, and there's an explanation available: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/MP-74

Thanks!

Hi @Asier Vadillo

The management of plugins has now moved to admin.atlassian.com.

If you have org admin access login to admin.atlassian.com and select the organization.
Then go to Security tab and select Audit log.

In the log filter, select 'App successful installation' under the activity:

Hope this helps!

Hi @Asier Vadillo

You need to be Jira admin, go to the Apps section and there choose manage app, this will provide you with the audit log option.
