How to integrate Project Server with Jira using SharePoint Rest API
Hello everyone,
I need to perform Jira Epic to Project Server Project Task level integration. I am experienced on SharePoint/Project Server side but completely new to Jira. What I am trying to achieve is when user is creating an Epic, they will be able to select from a list of projects that is picked from the result down below. I will then update Project Server records according to Epic status and other fields from Epic record in Jira.
I would get an XML result as below, i would then need to get feed.entry.content.properties.projectname field from the xml as a select dropdown field in Jira. This is the result of /_api/ProjectData/Projects Rest API query on SharePoint/Project Server
My question is how do I go about achieving this? What would be the high-level steps to follow?
So far i have tried Element Connector.
Data source setting:
Field setting, but i am getting Unsupported media type error even though i specified correct XML formatting.
