Hi all, I am a master degree student in Construction Management from India, I have been working on a project topic titled as ' Exploring the potential of agile project management in heavy civil infrastructure planning' For that I want to implement agile by the help of jira software in a pilot project and compare with traditional approaches. So how should I setup Jira for the same and any guidance regarding my project is highly appreciable.
Hi @Ankit Rakshit ,
Here are some similar resources/discussion on the topic:
I can just say that I've used Jira (software project) related to getting & planning my new home. The idea was also to use it if I would construct it from scratch. As for some 'best practices', I guess using components or something similar to 'group issues' would be a way to go.
Atlassian has been recently focusing on making Jira a 'broader tool', so not just for software development and I've been seeing more and more business and other teams using it more frequently so there might be more case studies and user stories related to this topic in the future.
Cheers,
Tobi
