I am keen to know if there is any way to include the roadmap feature present in next gen Kanban template into project management template.
The reason i want to do this is I am using project management template for most of my projects. I really liked the roadmap feature in next gen kanban project template. Now if I change my all of business projects to next gen kanban projects, I loose a lot of feature & functionality that project management template has. Thus, it would be good to include the Roadmap feature in project management template.
Hello,
Roadmap is only available in the next-gen projects. You can not enable it in a classic project.

Related question - we have a similar situation.
We have a new project that we created in the classic Jira business project and a separate classic jira software development project (2 JIRA projects for the same "real life project") but am considering moving it to the next-gen instead. Can you use next-gen for both the business work as well as the software work?
Is it common to have 2 projects in JIRA for the same "real life" project? one for project management and the other for technical work?
thanks in advance!
