In the fields section of an issue type, it is stated that we can import any custom field we have along all of our Jira projects, but when I look for a custom field in another project, it does not appear here. What could be happening?

Hello @Adriana Babilonia

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

It appears that you are in a Team Managed project. Is that correct?

Team Managed projects can reuse custom fields from other issue types within the same project, and can use custom fields defined with a Global Context that have been set up for Company Managed projects.

This functionality does not give you the ability to use absolutely any custom field from any custom project, and the screen does not actually say that you can import any custom field from all of your projects.

Thanks! I understand, and how can I define global custom fields?

That can be done only by a Jira Administrator by clicking on the gear icon (near your avatar in the upper right corner), clicking on Issues, and then going to the Custom Fields page.
