How to have bug story point estimate in sprint total points?

I added the custom field story points estimate on the bug issues. I want the bug points to show and to be calculated in the sprint total points.

Hello Olivier,

When you said you added the Story Points to the bug issues, are you meaning the Bug screens? Have you checked if the Story Points field context is properly configured for bugs too?

By default, the Story points field is only configured for Story and tasks. That been said, I would recommend you to check both:

1 - Add the correct context to the Story Points

- Navigate to JIRA Settings > Issues > Custom fields

- Find the Story Points field > Click on Configure

- Check if the field context is properly added to the bug issues

2 - Add the Story Points to your Project screens

- Navigate to your project > Project Settings > Screens

- Add the Story point screen to your bug screen
