I have Jira Premium and looking at doing a Planning session across multiple projects and teams.

Have created a plan and a program board that will have 8 sprints of 2 weeks and comprises 5 teams and 3 projects.  Is there any way of creating a hierarchy by project like you can see in the timeline view down LHS or is everything by team/ unnassigned

Hi @Steve Whitaker

Welcome to the community.

No the Program board of the Plan can't be viewed based by project.

There is also no open feature request for this, there are others, see;

https://jira.atlassian.com/issues/?jql=(summary%20~%20%22program%20board*%22%20OR%20description%20~%20%22program%20board*%22%20)%20and%20statusCategory%20!%3D%20done%20and%20project%20%3D%20JRACLOUD

But I expect that this also won't work that well if you have an Epic in a certain project and related work in another project, of you could view by project, you won't see Epic related work under the Epic but the item will be under it's project and you would need to open the item to view the parent.

And the parent could be shown without child items, if the child items are located in another project,
