How to group assignees into "buckets" or "teams"?

I am wondering if there is a way for me to group assignees into "buckets". For example, place Alicia and Ashley under one bucket/colour, and Kaden and Kathy under another bucket/colour, to represent groups/teams rather than individuals. 

For context, this visual was put together by segmenting by 'Current Assignee: Name'.

I am not sure what is the report/gadgets you are currently using, however, for most of the default Jira reports and gadgets, you can use the components field or any other custom fields to group the users as you need. Let me give you an example:

Let's suppose you want to group the users Alicia and Ashley. These would be the steps:

1. Create a component called "Alicia & Ashley"
2. Create a JQL query to return all the issues assigned to Alicia and Ashley:
   assignee in (Alicia, Ashley)
3. Use bulk operation to add the component to all the issues assigned to Alicia and Ashley.
4. Then, add the component to segment the report/gadget you are using.

Hi @Kathy Banh -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

There isn't anything built-in that can do that type of reporting.  With your example chart, you could investigate the Atlassian Marketplace to investigate addon tools for purchase for this type of reporting.  As another alternative, you could export the data for reporting in other tools like spreadsheets.
