Hi guys,
I have a project with 5 boards:
1. Product
2. Design
3. Development
4. QA
5. Delivery
What I want to achieve?
I want each group to be able to view its respective board only. I also want specific project roles to be exposed to some of the boards and other project roles to be exposed to all of them.
For example:
* Developers group to be able to view Development board only.
* Testers group to be able to view QA board only.
* Project Manager role to be able to view all boards in project.
Thanks for your kind help.
Hi @Roi Angress
In each board you will need to edit the share filter, go to your board > clic on the 3 dot >board settings >general > share then give the ability to view the filter to the project, group you want.
You need to be in the group that you want to share with, e.g you want to give access to the developer group then you need to be in this group if not you won't see the group.
You can edit the filter share associated w/ each board to give a group/role access. Click ellipses in top-right, Board settings > General >Edit filter share.
Please note that while this will limit who can see the board it will not limit the user from seeing the underlying issues. For example:
project ABC: board 1 > team 1 (fred, sally, raji); board 1 contains ABC-123, ABC-234, ABC-333
project ABC: board 2 > team 2 (deb, juan); board 2 contains ABC-554, ABC-555
Team 1 can access board 1 but not board 2
Team 2 can access board 2 but not board 1
all user can go into Project ABC and view all issues via search, open issues, etc.
