How to get worklogs updated on a specific day and is there a way to get the issues from the worklog

I had two questions regarding JIRA and I'm currently working with the python package of it. Right now, one of the issues that I'm running into is that I can't seem to find a way to see which worklogs were worked on in a specific date. 

What I want ideally to happen is that through seeing when the worklog was updated, I'd know which worklog was worked on for that day.

The second question I had has to deal with getting issues back from worklogs, which I'm at a loss to handle.
