How to get personal notifications in Teams, of a specific Project only

Hey there! Big fan of the Teams integration that Jira is offering. Our team has been using it past sprint to be notified about any updates to their assigned / reported tickets. 

Long story short, we have created a separate project to document our sprint retro (kanban style, nothing special). It has automation on it that it assigns the person who created the ticket. Now with the integration in Teams, each retro it gives a spam load of notifications with no value. 

Question: is there a way that we van update the personal notifications in Teams, that it only takes into consideration specific project(s)?
