How to get notified about Atlassian feature deprecation warnings?

Hi everyone,

I want to know if Atlassian provides any official way to get notified when features are deprecated or planned for removal.

Details:
We are working with Jira and Confluence Cloud, and sometimes we find that features or APIs we rely on are deprecated without us noticing until much later. This creates some risk for us when maintaining integrations, automations, or certain workflows.

I’ve seen the Atlassian Cloud changes and deprecations documentation, but what I’m looking for is something more proactive, such as:

• Automated notifications or alerts when we are actively using a soon-to-be deprecated API/feature.

• A central dashboard or health check that highlights risky dependencies.

• Any best practices or tools provided by Atlassian to help administrators track and react to deprecations.

Does Atlassian offer any mechanism for this, or is it up to us to manually follow release notes and the deprecation hub? If not, what strategies do other admins/teams use to stay ahead of upcoming deprecations?
