How to get a report on defects (raised and/or completed within sprint)

Hi, my scrum masters asked me, how they could get a report on defects.

They want to see how many defects were raised during a sprint and how many they were able to close.

The issue is that there is currently a defect board with many issues and they would like to get a kind of forecast how long (how many sprints) it would take them to "clear the table".

I appreciate any helpful suggestion.

P.S.: we have also Xray in place, if this makes a difference to any answer.

@Holger Jürgens , have you looked at project > Reports > Sprint report or other reports? Generally, if you are running scrum, when a sprint completes you perform a retrospective which incorporates all of this info. As well, it is typically performed or heavily involves the Scrum Master so they get this info in real-time.

Hi @Jack Brickey , and thanks for the reply, I guess I will check the report section a bit more thoroughly.

Somebody else pointed me towards the dashboard gadget "Created vs Resolved Chart", that might suit us for now and provides some required information.
