How to get JIRA reference information on hover

Vitor Monticelli March 9, 2022

Hello all,

I'm trying to get the information from a JIRA ticket that is informed in the References field of Testrail, but I get the following error:

```
Plugin "Jira_REST" returned an error: Invalid user or password or insufficient permissions for the integration user (HTTP code 401). Please make sure to use your actual JIRA username for the integration (not your email address, for example).
```
Under Administration>Integration>References, I found a bit confusing on how to set the proper credentials. It asks for a JIRA User but doesn't accept the e-mail I use to sign in there, so I'm not sure how to get the correct JIRA User information.

That being said, where can I get the proper `JIRA User` information? And is that the reason I'm getting that HTTP 401 error?
Thanks in advance!

I've found a solution for this. For future reference:

`JIRA User` for a JIRA Cloud needs to be an e-mail. Since that configuration screen doesn't support adding email addresses, I needed to add anything there, then edit the created user variable setting the e-mail there.

And the `JIRA Password` is an API Token generated in the JIRA personal settings.
