Hi. I have been trying to automatically or manually generate "original estimate" on my time tracking report. Checked project settings to ensure the original estimates are included. Please support
Hello @Ridwan Sanni
Welcome to the community.
Can you provide more details about exactly which report you are generating? How do you access that report?
What type of project is this for? Is it a Company Managed or Team Managed project? Is it a Business, Software, or Service project?
Are you using an Agile board? If so, is it a Scrum board or a Kanban board?
Can you provide a screen image of the report, with confidential information blacked out?
Hi. The "Time Tracking Report" is the one I'm referring to please. When I pull the report after each day's work, the column for original estimate comes in blank, even after logging all required time details for every task. This thereby make other columns feeding from that cell blank as well

When you access the report the first page is for setting configuration options for the report. What options are you selecting?
Can you provide a screen image of the report showing an issue that shows no value for Original Estimate, and an image of the same issue's details showing the time tracking information?

@Trudy Claspill attached images for your attention please. Also,I've been trying to move multiple issues at once from a project to another but not successfully. The online guide I read directed me to navigate through the advanced search and select the issues, but that seems not possible

Hello @Ridwan Sanni
Moving issues is an entirely separate topic. I recommend you start a new post in the community for that.
Can you provide an image of one of the issues that appears in your report with no Original Estimate value? In that image of that issue, please show the Original Estimate field. Notice that Original Estimate and Time Tracking are separate fields.
Thank you.

Hi @Trudy Claspill thanks for the feedback. I attached the page of the report in question in my earlier response to you. However, looking at the picture attached by you, I think the original estimate field was not added as part of my fields for each activity before now. Could that resolve the issue I have if added??
Also as a suggestion, does your team provide video support support for users. This could save time and numerous message exchanges
Concerning the "Moving multiple tasks at once", I have created a new post on that as well. We can try the video support on that if you do not mind. Alternatively, you could do a video on how it is done. Thanks

Hello @Ridwan Sanni
This is a community of Jira users, not a paid support team. I personally do not provide video support for topics on posted in this community. I can't speak for what any other community member might be willing to do.
My ask for another image was for an image of one of the issues that is in the report, not an image of the report. I wanted an image like the one I posted as an example.
If you do not see the Original Estimate field when you are viewing issues, then it is highly likely that there is no value in that field for any of the issues. That is why there is no value for for that field for the issues in the report. If you add the field to your issues and fill it in for each issue, then the data will appear in your report.

Oh I see. Pardon my manners please. I thought it was the actual Atlassian team. Thanks for your support. I actually picked from your shared picture that I did not add the "Original estimate" field to my data, hence I could not have had anything in it. The "Time tracking report" creates that space, but does not automatically fill it up. I have added you on my linkedIn as well. Once again, thanks for your support
