How to extract user specific behavior information from jira db

Hi

We want to try to understand how users are using our Jira instance a bit more. We do have a lot of project/ scheme configurations and users. To start with we have been asking if it is possible to extract data like.

• How many users have logged into a project last quarter and/ or
• How many users have created or updated an issue a project the last quarter

If we get that we could select specific project types and drill further. To start with.

We are using a server solution with Jira 7.6.4

Is this possible, do I need specific authorizations, is there any tool that can be used. Any  hints to get started would be welcome, thx
